Welcome to David Diehl Photography. If you have any questions or feedback please contact me.

I was born and raised in California and have been photographing landscapes in black and white for over 20 years. I received my B.S. degree in Applied Art & Design from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obiso in 1987.

Most of the images on the site were taken with either a Hasselblad 500 or 501 CM camera, and at times a 4x5 field camera. Kodak TMAX 100 film is used with both systems. Different filters are sometimes used to create long exposure times for the photographs.

All film is hand processed, and either printed on silver gelatin paper in the darkroom, or drum scanned and output using digital printing technology.

My redesigned website will be online in 2007.
